He was one of the biggest highlights of 2014’s Future Music Festival, with charisma to burn and huge performances across the country. Now one of the UK’s most innovative and authentic artists, Tinie Tempah, returns to Australia for a series of special dates this June.

The red hot South Londoner has done no wrong of late, following on from the November 2013 release of his acclaimed second album, Demonstration. Featuring collaborations with the Chemical Brothers, 2 Chainz, Diplo and more, hits like ‘Trampoline’, ‘Heroes’, ‘Children Of The Sun’ and latest single ‘Lover Not A Fighter’ found their way across the globe, Tempah’s pioneering second effort reaching gold status in the UK and coming in at #22 on the local ARIA Albums Chart.
As well as taking to stages at special headline dates across the country next month, Tinie’s also headed north – and will close out 2014’s mammoth RACE & ROCK
line-up at Darwin’s V8 Supercars on Saturday 22 June.
With multiple Brits, MOBO, BET trophies and an Ivor Novello award to his name, over 23 million people saw Tinie perform at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. With megahits like ‘Drinking From The Bottle’, ‘Earthquakes’ and collaborations with Swedish House Mafia (‘Miami 2 Ibiza’), Tinie’s epic party-starting live show is something to behold – just ask Prince William, who earned a high five from the singer back in February, when Tinie opened the BAFTAS with a performance of ‘Heroes’ (check it out here).
After conquering Australia in March on Future Music Festival, in April he dropped a hard rocking video for single ‘5 Minutes’ (watch it here), and more recently unveiled his free ‘Rap Demonstration’ app – which allows fans to rap along with the man himself whenever they hear a Tinie song, via custom built sound analysis software and video technology. Just before Tinie returns to our shores, the singer will embark on one of the world’s most epic racing events – the 4,828 kilometre Gumball Rally, which will see him get behind the wheel of a 1 million Bugatti Veyron from Miami, Florida, to Ibiza in Spain.
