A Little about Mandy…..
It’s not often that a package comes delivered with absolutely everything an electronic music enthusiast’s heart could desire. For Mandy Onassis, the drive of core big room pulses with electro, progressive and house beats that ripple through her veins- is nothing short of an electrifying pound. Born and bred in Sydney, this east coast diviner has the global potential nestled safely in her hands, in the studio and in the booth.
In recent times, Mandy’s take over on club floors across Australia and beyond has catapulted with a solid beat. From the Famous launch in Thailand with the avid house extraordinaire Roger Sanchez, the New Years Eve Island White Party and Australia’s pumping festivals Stereosonic and Future Music Festival, her tune is on cue. Sitting pretty on show bills with Carl Cox, Alex Metric, Digitalism, Krafty Kuts, Steve Aoki, and local heroes Peking Duk and Will Sparks, the calibre is high and the delivery is phenomenal, bringing Mandy back to her spot in the booth over and over. Her residency at The Met in Brisbane has brought introduced new heights where global headliners are playing alongside her and where her fans are alive – front and centre.
The studio has been tepid with long awaited releases already combusting from the locked away music haven of this paladin. In recent times we’ve seen the release of her highly anticipated “Drop Bear” make it’s way into her fellow DJs collections and available to her fans.
Bringing her big room inspirations to the top, the anticipation from this vibe machine is high from the studio while the warm up is brewing on her monthly podcast ‘The Authority’ which has seen some big names come out of the woodwork for guest spots and features including the Stafford Brothers, the Potbelleez, Marcus Santoro, Minx, Kid Kenobi, with plenty of internationals on the schedule.
Featured across the country’s widely renowned publications like DJ Mag, her name is on permanent imprint on the electronic minds of many.
Holding her individual sound the whole way through her career and beyond, Mandy Onassis keeps the beats true to the dance floor and her studio emphasis flourishing. Raising the bar in dance music has never been so exciting.
