Tommy Trash has told us that he is Australia’s answer to Deadmau5. Known to fuse 210 songs in just 18 minutes while passionately cooking popcorn on the side, its impossible to bundle Dave Winnel into a standard rabble of DJs and producers. Seizing a unique applause of his own, with a will to rewrite the masses of electronic music, the Dave Winnel sound strides a percussive groove boasting huge melodies, relinquishing a spot in a specific genre. Patented with the likes of Pete Tong on his Radio 1 Essential Selection and support from, Porter Robinson, Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso and Tiesto – Dave Winnel is on cue.

High hopes and accolades from Michael Woods’ and his label Diffused Music- Dave delights with a hanging inspiration, breaking the mould, with a remix for US band Switchfoot. From timid classical music mingled with his younger years exploring the rave scene where artists notably experimented with sound and effortlessly crossed boundaries, his roots wear strong. In 2013, this Sydney sider broke boundaries on the ARIA Club Charts igniting the ladder six times with his singles, including that of ‘The Great Valley’ and ‘Remember To Breathe’ with Chris Arnott hit #5 and shone charts for two months solid. The buzz track from Dave is Achtung! (which ironically means Attention!) literally stood at attention at #22 on Beatport’s progressive chart & played by Axwell during his infamous Tomorrowland set, broadcasted to millions around the globe.

With Ableton Live and an array of midi controllers, Dave Winnel’s smooth performance method has roped in credit globally, making him an Ableton Live genius from live edits to mashups on the fly. As 2014’s Ministry of Sound ‘Electro House Sessions’ advocate, he is charging with affect across the country. Backing it up with the Sessions tour and featuring at the biggest kicks from Stereosonic to Summafieldayze and Breath of Life’. In the club, its Dave’s highly anticipated shows at Pacha Sydney, Platinum and The Met that are lining themselves with gold from the get go.

Please read the label before consuming this music and pop corn, not pills.
