The MET pres. SIZE RECORD NIGHT feat. JEBU + IVAN GOUGH – Sat 29 Nov

The MET is excited to announce the return of JEBU and IVAN GOUGH for a double headline show!

JEBU

Melbourne based DJ/Producer Jebu (Jeremy Bunawan) was just 8 years old when he first heard Benny Benassi’s Satisfaction, the moment he recalls that his life changed. Inspired by the innovative sounds, a couple of years later he bought Fruity Loops and began experimenting. Fast forward to a little over 5 years later and his experimentation and self taught skills have led to two releases on Aussie dance label Neon Records in the form of Are U Ready and 3NCODE (collaborating with MITS) and one signing on superstar-Swede Steve Angello’s Size Records (collaborating with ARIA Award winner Ivan Gough); plus a list of ever-growing supporters that includes Hardwell, Chuckie, Morgan Page, Matisse & Sadko and more.

His forthcoming release NOXU has been signed to Size records (Steve Angelo’s imprint) this is the follow up track to Kukatu, which was a Beatport top 10. Again collaborating with Ivan Gough.

IVAN GOUGH

Its fair to say that If there was an Australian Dance Music hall of fame, Ivan Gough would be in it. Whether you’re talking about Dj’ing or producing, Ivan is one of Australia’s most accomplished dance music exports. An Australian electronic music pioneer, his rare talent in the studio has conjured a career that many artists only dream of, while his notorious skills in the booth have rocked dancefloors across the globe from Ibiza to New York, Canada to the UK, and everywhere in between.

As TV Rock with Grant Smillie, Ivan has had 11 No.1 dance tracks on the ARIA club chart, more than anyone else, and in 2006 their smash hit ‘Flaunt It’ broke all the records. The duo garnished 2 ARIA’s for the track, selling more than 175,000 copies and going double platinum, as well as holding the record for the longest running Australian track in the ARIA top 10 ever. Ivan and Grant continued to dominate charts around the country and the world with their singles ‘In The Air’ and ‘Diamonds In The Sky”. Both featured Rudy on vocals and both hit #1 on the Australian club chart and were played by all the worlds top DJ’s.
