COSMO’S MIDNIGHT is the Sydney-based twin brother duo mesmerising headphones and dancefloors around the globe. Representing unexplored territory not just within genres but between them, Cosmo’s Midnight look for cross points between low-end house, lushed out beat-work and electronic mystery attracting an array of fans worldwide.
From their self-released debut EP ‘Surge’ along much-hyped remixes for Jaysways and support slots for the likes of international buzz acts XXYYXX, Cashmere Cat and Tokimonsta, Cosmo’s Midnight’s success was amplified ten-fold by taking out the official remix competition for Flume’s 2012 mega- hit ‘Sleepless’. As chosen by the renowned Future Classic A&R’s and Flume himself, the officially released remix marked a new chapter in the duo’s global takeover, and a step-up in the creation of their sound.
Currently working on follow-up releases, 2013 will see a step-up in both their output and reach, with patiently waiting fanbases from the likes of Majestic Casual, Triple J, FBi Radio and a host of the countries most tasteful sources. Making a statement that’s part enigma and all beauty, the music of Cosmo’s Midnight attends to the mind as much as the body. It invokes a sway but begs for a dance – like a nightclub underneath a waterfall or an iPod buried in a shoreline. It’s energetic, erratic and completely inescapable.
