Michael Zuidland aka: “Zoolanda” at the tender age of 23 has been setting dance-floor’s and studio’s alight with his heavy weight electro come rave style of music.
Raw sawing rave synths, blended with his driving fidget inspired grooves produce a sound that’s rarely known to come out of Melbourne, let alone Australia. Zoolanda describes his style as “All over the joint”.
His signing to Ministry of Sound’s Maximum Bass CD with the Beatport top 100 charting tune ‘Liquid Cardboard‘ was his big break into the Electronic Dance Music scene.
In more recent times his collaboration with Will Sparks ‘Drop That’ rose to the Top 20 in the Beatport Electro House charts. Adding to this, he has been hard at work releasing records such as Long Night [Bone Idle] with his side group Mischievous Men, Superhouse [Safari Music], Dance [Sweat it Out], Run This Shit w/ SCNDL [Hussle Recordings] & GTFU [Central Station Records].
With countless originals and remixes in the works it is only the beginning of what is set to be a lustrous career in music production and live performances.
Zoolanda is a force to be reckoned with in the scene and is continuing to win the hearts of dance music fans and clobbers alike across the country, be prepared Australia – you have been warned.
