Lets face it, at The Normanby, we don’t mind a good sunday session… and we like them LIVE AND LOUD! In 2013 our aim has been to give you the best parties and festivals imaginable. At 5 Ways Festival we had 8000 peeps deep raving to Bass Kleph, and at last month’s Normfest featuring the Resin Dogs & the man of the moment WILL SPARKS, the hotel was heaving as we packed more bass into Bovine than we knew what to do with!
Alas in the spirit of a good sunday sesh, we’re BACKING IT UP as NORMFEST RETURNS Sunday August 4th, featuring JOEL FLETCHER (Melbourne) & Bon Jovi tribute band “Livin’ on a Prayer”! This event is as always FREE ENTRY.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia the prodigal son of Melbourne underground dance music has come to earn widespread praise and an impressive reputation for his work in the music industry as DJ and Producer alike. From beginning to DJ at the age of 14, achieving his first club residency by the age of 16 to recently being voted #19 in the this years inthemix Australia Top 50 awards, the rise to the top has been quick and occurred early.
Through his large library of releases through labels such as Ministry Of Sound, he has secured numerous positions in the various Beatport charts. His remix of Orkestrated’s “Robots” reaching #29 in the Electro House listing & two entries into the Top 10 of the Minimal listing with his tracks “Bugging Device” and “China Town”. Joels recently been working on records such as ‘Afterdark’, ‘Gash King’ [Downright] a remix for Adelaide icon Uberjakd & ‘Bring it Back’ a collaboration with Will Sparks.
Currently working with a range of local and internationally renowned artists, Joel’s career looks promising as his weeks continue being filled with bookings from Australia’s most in-demand Nightclub’s, festivals and the forever-growing discography of his own releases.

“Livin’ on a Prayer” the Bon Jovi Tribute Band are brilliant homage to the superstar stadium rockers from New Jersey.
All the hits and favourite album tracks faithfully reproduced in a dynamite show full of high octane rock anthems. Bad Medicine, Dead or Alive, You Give Love a Bad Name, Blaze of Glory and arguably the greatest rock anthem of all time, “Living on a Prayer “.
A fantastic stage show, all the searing vocals, mind blowing guitar solos , fabulous harmonies and unmistakeable punchy rhythms are all featured in this show, executed by outstanding musicians dedicated to bring the punter the true Bon Jovi excitement.
