The Aston Shuffle are finally back with the first in a long line of flaming hot singles to roll out from their forthcoming sophomore album.

After signing with EMI Music Australia in late 2013, the boys started the year with the anthemic Can’t Stop Now, fast becoming #1 most played on triple j. Meanwhile their collaboration with Tommy Trash, Sunrise (Won’t Get Lost), held the #1 slot on Beatport for three weeks, generated over one million views on YouTube, and featured in every performance of Swedish House Mafia’s worldwide farewell tour.

Later securing a Record of the Day feature for Can’t Stop Now and clocking up 100,000 YouTube views on the teaser, the buzz saw the band sign to Polydor in the UK and Universal Republic in the US, with their resulting push clocking up over half a million views and 3 plays on Radio 1 so far.

Now, presenting Comfortable, a jam about finding familiarity in the arms of a stranger – a perfect dance floor sentiment if ever there was one and a fitting introduction to their first album in over 2 years. Co-written with long-time collaborator and APRA Breakthrough Writer of the Year & ARIA Producer of the Year, Styalz Fuego, the single fuses their signature blend of catch-cry emotive vocals and heart-starting techno.

Comfortable was recorded in London earlier this year with soul up-comer, Will Heard (Klangkarussell Sonnentanz), and comes equipped with forthcoming remixes from Swedish electro house maestro John Dahlbäck, tech house homie Riton, and Hype Machine-conquering tropical bass upstart LDRU. The video will be directed by Prad Senenayake (Something For Kate, 360, Evermore), telling a vivid and unnerving tale of attraction gone awry in the streets of Los Angeles (think American Beauty meets Falling Down).

TORNADO WALLACE

Chicago has house, Detroit techno, Berlin minimal and London a long history of rave culture. But Melbourne’s dance producers are chameleons, mashing up a multitude of Trans-Atlantic sounds with an irreverence peculiar to them. Tornado Wallace subscribes to this very individualism but, even within his hometown, he’s considered an anomaly.

The elusive and enigmatic DJ/producer is discreetly taking on the world with his hybrid of house, techno and disco with the hard-working producer responsible for stand out EPs on labels Delusions Of Grandeur, Instruments Of Rapture and ESP Institute, all supported by contemporaries such as Andrew Weatherall, Eric Duncan, Tim Sweeney, Matthew Dear and Mr Scruff.

Supports for the night include:

MAIN ROOM:: PETE SMITH, DELLA, MORGAN BAKER, SNEAZY, OH-J, BATCHELO, DAN AUSTEN

REKIDZ:: ADDICTION DJS, DELIGHT DJS, LUCID CULTURE DJS, RIKKI NEWTON, TOM

BAMBOO:: SUNNY HO, MR SPARKLES
