The MET presents Walden

Straight off the back of a massive US tour and being hand picked to play Ultra Music Festival at this years Miami Word Music Conference, The MET is proud to welcome back Australia’s fastest rising talent, Walden Saturday 20th April.

The title “musical prodigy” is often reserved for a child or young person having extraordinary musical talent or ability – we call him Walden. Sydney based youngster Walden is quickly becoming a part of the unstoppable force that is the progressive/electro house clan.

At only 19 years old, John Walden’s debut “Brightness” received an unheard-of double feature on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 show, which in turn drew massive support from the likes of Afrojack, Michael Woods, Morgan Page, Roger Sanchez, Tommy Trash, and even the legendary Tiesto.

His suitcase of original hits including “Intropial” from his newest album “Brightness Sessions Mix”, “Warmonger” and “Ciaco” are quickly becoming essential additions to any big room DJs collection.

Finishing on his Intropial Tour across all the big name venues in Canada and America, Walden’s debut performance at the infamous Pacha New York received rave reviews from top music critics.

“His uplifting and purely emotive sound ensures that he is going somewhere. Since witnessing such young talent in the midst of rising is a rare occasion, listening to him was a privilege, and I look forward to the next time he’s in New York.” – EDM insider.
